Received the ballast from IceCap in Tuesday, had the bulbs in hand last week.   I wanted to pass along a heartfelt THANKS for working with IceCap to get the ballast out to me.  I have everything installed and it looks great!

My husband and I contracted the services of Coral Reef Eco-Systems in August of 1996.  Though our first idea was to put a fish tank behind our bar area, we had no idea what adventure awaited us.  We had never been introduced to a reef-type system, and were extremely interested in understanding and creating this living panorama in our house.  My first thought was that this would be excellent for our two boys but quickly found that this hobby would turn out to be my love instead.

The Ruddy's were the most professional and kind individuals throughout this whole experience.  We contracted initially with them entirely over the phone and through fax.  The building of the tank was particularly hard due to restrictive space requirements, so a lot of pictures had to be sent prior to the setting up, so they could create measurements for the tank.  They were very patient and honest with us during the entire process and continually made us think for ourselves and be realistic in this endeavor.  They did not try to sell or convince us that we should put in a reef aquarium -- they told us the work that would be involved and we had very real conversations that this will be a part of our daily lives and additional responsibilities from now on.  We were ready for the challenge and have never looked back.

The fulfillment of looking at this amazing and beautiful moving artwork in our home has brought a sense of peace and sometimes healing, as we all sit around and look at this on a daily basis.  All of our visitors admire it and are in awe when they first see it.  I feel good when I can explain the different coral types and ecological processes involved with each animal.  I feel Coral Reef Eco-Systems would be the only company that could have done this in such a caring, thorough and precise manner.  You can tell that they are truly committed and concerned for their clients and the love for the ecosystem.  We still get calls from them just to see how we are doing, and I continually order from them.  I would recommend Steve and Toni to anyone, and have never once regretted our decision to install a reef aquarium, which opened the door for us to meet two wonderful people and take advantage of all their resources.
