Shipping Policy

Orders for items in stock are generally filled within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.  This means for customers selecting Next Day Shipping, when placing an order on a Friday, the order will not ship until the following Monday, for Tuesday arrival.  Drop-ship and out of stock items usually ship within 7 days.  In that case, you will be sent an email with the estimated ship date(s) of the item(s).

When your order is processed you will receive an email confirmation.  Once the order is packaged and shipped, you will receive an additional email with the shipping information.

Shipping damage is the responsibility of the carrier, and claims for such damage should be made directly to the carrier.  Please note that in the case of damaged shipments you should retain all packaging materials, as some claims departments require inspection of the packaging.

Return Policy

Light bulbs purchased from Coral Reef Eco-Systems may be returned for refund or exchange within (5) days of receipt.  A Return Authorization number (RA#) must be obtained from Coral Reef Eco-Systems prior to the return of any items.  An RA# can be obtained by contacting Coral Reef Eco-Systems at (707) 869-4100.  The packaged items for return must be postmarked for return within (5) days of receipt of the items.

Coral Reef Eco-Systems will replace any defective product, including bulbs, for up to thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.  Any bulb claim after that time period will be pro-rated for 12 months, or referred to the manufacturer.

All other lighting systems and lighting accessories are limited to our 30-day warranty, and then to the specific manufacturer's warranty period, which varies depending on manufacturer.
